Mari Quinn, R.V.T. - Hospital Manager

Primary Responsibilities

Mari is the cornerstone to our smooth running practice. As Hospital Manager, she is responsible for maintaining order at the hospital. This includes:

• Registered Veterinary Technician
• Staff Scheduling
• Inventory Control
• Vendor Management
• Purchasing
• Technology Updates
• Support Hospital Equipment

(and you thought your day was busy!)

Although her day is filled with management responsibilities, Mari's greatest focus is on ensuring that every patient is treated with the same care and compassion as if they were our own pet (regardless of how big or small, nice or scary). Mari clearly understands the respect and love our guests have for their pets and makes every effort to ensure they are treated the same while they are with us.

Experience

"I have learned every aspect of all positions here at Pacific Petcare. I started as a kennel technician and worked my way through each position to then become the Hospital Manager."

Mari has always been surrounded by animals. When she was growing up, she had parakeets, finches, hamsters, rats, mice, hermit crabs, snakes, geckos, turtles, frogs, an iguana (Wendall Roland) and of course dogs and cats. She knew from a very early age that she would have a career caring for animals.

Mari started her own business as a professional pet sitter. She then worked at pet shops and later at animal hospitals and clinics. In addition to her direct experience, Mari is also a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Including her time here at Pacific Petcare, Mari has over 12 years of veterinary experience.

One of Mari's many accomplishments here at Pacific Petcare has been to maintain a long-term, well-trained staff. This is critical to providing a healthy, happy environment that is obvious to all clients from the moment they walk in the door.

Just for Fun

Mari leverages her extremely good nature, communication ability and organizational skills to keep the hospital rolling along. When she isn't at the office or researching some new products or services, Mari likes to head to Mexico and do a little camping.
